Test for Carbonates (CO₃^2-)

To test for a carbonate, first react it with DILUTE ACID and it will form CARBON DIOXIDE.

You can test the presence of CARBON DIOXIDE by bubbling it through LIMEWATER to making it go CLOUDY.
