• When you use the site — pages visited, time spent, and what you interact with

• Basic information — first and last name, email address, school and school year
• Account and learning data — login details, activity on the platform, attendance in live classes
• Progress and gamification data — which spec points you've completed, quiz scores and attempts, XP earned, level, daily streaks and trophies
• Video viewing data — which revision videos you've watched and how far through
• Past paper activity — which papers you've opened and any marks you record against them
• Homework activity — questions attempted, annotations you make, and solution videos watched
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser, and usage data
• Payment details — handled securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as medical records, religion or political views.

• Track your progress, award XP and maintain your streaks and trophies
• Show your teacher how you're getting on with homework and classes
• Fix bugs and improve the site

We do not sell your data to anyone.

6. How long we keep your data

While you have an account and are using our services. If you stop using the platform we delete your data after one year of inactivity, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.

7. Who we share your data with

We share data only where needed to run the platform.

Some providers are outside the UK and EEA. Where that's the case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

Videos are embedded from YouTube using their no-cookie service, so YouTube doesn't set tracking cookies until you actually play a video. Once you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.

We use security measures to protect your data from hacking, unauthorised access and accidental loss. Only trusted staff can access it, and access is limited to what their role requires.

11. Age

Flash Revision Lab is for students aged 13 and over. If you're under 13, please don't create an account — ask a parent or guardian to get in touch with us instead.

If you're under 18, we'd encourage you to talk to a parent or guardian before signing up for a paid plan, since they'll usually be the one paying.

If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 13, we'll close it and delete the data associated with it.
