Black Body Radiation

INFRARED RADIATION is emitted and absorbed by ALL BODIES (objects), regardless of their temperature.

The rate at which a body emits or absorbs infrared radiation is influenced by its temperature—the HOTTER the body, the MORE infrared radiation it emits in a given time.
