Revision notes for AQA GCSE Physics specification point 4.5.7.1, Momentum is a property of moving objects.
Momentum
MOMENTUM is a quality that every MOVING object possesses.
It depends on the MASS of the object and its VELOCITY.
You calculate MOMENTUM by using the equation:
Where:
- p is the momentum, which is measured in Kilogram metres per second (kg m/s).
